Active Ingredients
Each day capsule contains:
- Paracetamol 500mg ........................ Analgesic
- Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 10mg ........ Cough suppressant
- Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg ....................... Decongestant
Each night capsule contains:
- Paracetamol 500mg ........................ Analgesic
- Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 10mg ........ Cough suppressant
- Chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg ......................... Antihistamine
Uses Temporary relief from the following cold & flu symptoms:
- headaches
- fever
- sore throat
- runny or blocked nose
- dry cough
- body aches and pains.
Warnings Do not use
- For children under 12 years
- If you have taken antihistamines
- If the package use-by-date has expired.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use:
- with other products containing paracetamol, dextromethorphan or phenylephrine
- if you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant
- if you have high blood pressure, heart problems or are taking antidepressant medication.
Directions for Use Adults and Children over 12 years: DAY: 2 green capsules to be taken every four to six hours, when required, up to three times daily. Morning, Midday and Afternoon. Do not exceed 6 DAY capsules in 24 hours. NIGHT: 2 red & white capsules to be taken at bedtime. Do not exceed 2 NIGHT capsules in 24 hours.

Warnings continued Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time (children & adolescents) or a few days at a time (Adults) unless advised by a doctor. If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26) or go to hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of serious liver damage if left untreated. Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people. Night Capsules may make you drowsy. If drowsy do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol. If symptoms persist, see your doctor. Contains sugars as lactose (Night capsule only) and sulfites.
