What this medicine is used for
PHARMACY ACTION Period Pain Relief tablets provide relief from the discomfort and pain associated with menstrual cramps.
Warnings
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Excessive or prolonged use can be harmful and can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.
- If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately.
Do not take this medicine:
- If you have a stomach ulcer.
- If you have impaired kidney function.
- If you have heart failure.
- If you are trying to become pregnant or during the first 6 months of pregnancy except on doctor’s advice.
- At all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- If you are allergic to naproxen or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
Unless a doctor has told you to, do not take this medicine:
- For more than a few days at a time.
- If you have asthma.
- With other medicines containing naproxen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
- With other medicines that you are taking regularly.
Directions for Use
Read the enclosed leaflet before using this product. Take 2 tablets, with food, at the first sign of period pain or menstrual bleeding, followed by 1 tablet after 6 to 8 hours as necessary. DO NOT exceed 5 tablets in a 24 hour period.

Use
For temporary relief of pain, discomfort and/or inflammation associated with migraine and tension headaches, muscular aches, dental pain, aches and pains associated with cold and flu, period pain, arthritic pain. Reduces fever.
Warnings
Do not use:
- if you have a stomach ulcer, impaired kidney function or heart failure.
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use:
- if you have asthma.
- for more than a few days at a time. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.
- if you are aged 65 years or over.
- if trying to become pregnant or during the first 6 months of pregnancy. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Unless advised by your doctor or pharmacist, do not use:
- with products containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or with medicines that you are taking regularly.
- in children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
If you get an allergic reaction, stop taking and see your doctor immediately.
Directions for Use
Adults and Children over 12 years:
1 or 2 tablets initially, then 1 or 2 tablets every four to six hours as necessary. Take with food.
Do not exceed maximum dose of 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Children 7 to 12 years (22 to 41kg): 1 tablet with fluid every six to eight hours, when required, up to four times daily. Maximum dose of 4 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended for use in children aged under 7 years.
